Born in the picturesque state of Goa and raised in the bustling city of Mumbai, Sophia’s early life was shaped by academic excellence, beginning her journey from the prestigious Canossa Convent High School. She further pursued her education, obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Mumbai.
In 2010, at the young age of 23, Sophia entered into a marriage that turned out to be a traumatizing experience of immense pain due to domestic violence. Enduring trauma during her pregnancy, she found the strength to walk away from a marriage that lasted less than six months, emerging as a single parent to her remarkable son.
In the face of societal stigma surrounding separation in India, Sophia chose to focus on her spiritual journey and delved into the teachings of Christianity to find solace.
Her decision to turn towards Jesus and embrace the living water led to supernatural growth in her career and personal life. Guided by a strong faith in Jesus and the Almighty, Sophia overcame the challenges and bondages imposed by dark forces.
Two key verses from the Bible, Isaiah 54:17 and 1 Samuel 3:10, became the foundation of her unwavering belief that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and she is ready to listen to the Lord’s guidance.
In 2023, she achieved another milestone by being crowned the Dignified Diva in the Miss/Mrs International 2023 beauty pageant, garnering headlines and pride in her hometown of Goa.
With over a decade of experience in the aviation and hospitality industry, Sophia has left her mark on major airlines, airports, and hotels in India and the Middle East, including Singapore Airlines, Jet Airways, Qatar Airways, Dubai International Airport, and Hamad International Airport.
Beyond her professional achievements, Sophia is a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment, always eager to uplift and support those in need. Her dedication to charitable causes and her role as a counselor to friends and colleagues showcase her commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others.
Sophia’s love for music and dance is evident in her participation in an international album, “Rise Up Men of God,” in 2020. She further showcased her talents on the global stage at the Dubai Expo 2020 as part of a beautiful choir.
